The Department of Public Education reports that only 13.5 percent of AP students get a satisfactory passing grade (three, four or five) on their AP Exam; credit is granted to students who have a cumulative GPA that exceeds 2.5. But, 98.3 percent of CAPP students get credit at UW-Oshkosh from the university itself. In other words, a university or college at UW-Oshkosh pays someone to take the students’ test and grade it for them.
There are two types of credit awarded to students with Capped AP Credit (CAPP) from the university. First, the students have to pay the cost of a one-credit exam. Second, the university pays for the same exam, only for the cost of the students. A university or college does not pay for the cost of any extra credits a student earns by taking a CAPP exam at UW-Oshkosh because they are part of the University’s AP credit requirements.
When a student is approved by the university, they must pay the first installment by direct deposit in their account or pay via a cheque in the post office. If the student cannot pay by direct deposit, they are given a set number of days in which they will have to make a payment if they want to keep their Capped AP Credit status. Students should always make payments promptly or else lose their status.
Students who are approved to Capped AP Credit status and then find themselves unable to pay for their exams should make arrangements to pay for them in cash. This will cause the student to not lose their status as long as they have an available bank account and a means of paying for their tuition.
If you‘re a Capped AP Credit student, you have many options to pay for your coursework, and you don’t have to rely on credit cards to pay for your tuition. If you have a job, you may qualify for a Pay As You Earned (PAYE) programs. program from your employer, and you may be eligible for a federal or state program.
You can also take a Capped AP Credit exam at Wisconsin College or another institution and pay someone to take your examination. You can also pay a fee and take an online CAPP exam at another institution.

There are many benefits of taking online exams. Some people prefer to study online because they want to get away from the distractions of campus life, and many others choose to take Capped AP Credit exams because they know that they can earn some points and help their credit rating.
